Le Château' Shop
About Us
About Us
"Chateau-Shop.Net brings you
all the best Chateaux of France"
Let me introduce my company and myself.  My
name is
Michael Haubrich, the president of
"Chateau'Shop".  I created "Chateau'Shop"
several years ago in
Angers, France.  We are
based in the central West part of France in the
middle of the
"Loire Valley Wine Country."

I was born in Tours, not far from Angers, and
made France my home during 30 years of my
life, off and on and lived the rest of the time in
the US, where as an International marketer
and translator, I worked in prestigious
companies such as Apple Computers, AOL
and Auto Zone.
The fact that I was living in California, close to
Napa Valley
, where I started seriously to
educate myself about  wines by going as
often as I could on wine tasting tours proving
to me that France does not have the
exclusivity on excellent wines.  So I know
Napa Valley almost as well as my dear
" Loire Valley ".    Please note that without
any chauvinism whatsoever, I do find French
wines are still the classiest of the world.

Wine making is not foreign to me because in
France, as a young man, we made our own
wines and I was often elected to dance
barefoot on the freshly cut grapes, in a big
upside down barrel to make wine juice out of
those wonderful " Loire Valley» grapes.  I'm
sure you know what I am talking about if you
were a participant in wine making a while
back.  Little did I know, at that time, that one
day my job would be to export these same
wines.

It's becoming evident that French wines are
again becoming extremely popular all over
the world, especially in emerging countries.
Both of us, as well as others, are in the right
place at the right time so  "Let's both hit the
iron while it's hot! " because, I guarantee you
it's moving fast!
As a third party, I don't like the word of middleman.  I prefer calling
ourselves "mediators", whether we deal with a client, an importer, an
exporter, a broker, a distributor or a manufacturer, I insist on the fact
that we sincerely try to do this without favouritism. For a deal to be
strong and healthy, all of the above should be treated with exactly the go
to the finish. If it doesn't, it's a lost of time for both of us.

After 40 years of trading and marketing, I've learned this lesson a long
time ago; I suppose this is why they call me "The Kissinger of Business"
in the US.  Why don't you just consider us as your French office in
France?  If you think of us this way, without a doubt, we can do great
things together!

Our team works very hard to get what we want in order to please our
clients and our suppliers we don't have a clock in our office.  We're
always ready to help.  If you have questions, we have answers ASAP !

Our staff is bi-lingual French/English, some Italian, Spanish and German
is also possible.  I personally know the French culture very well and in
the US, I have learned and understand the Anglo Saxon ways of
business. I have dealt with International trade for 40 years and have
been involved with Import/Export with Asia and many other European
countries most of that time, so I guess you could say, I'm a citizen of the
world.

We are your ideal suppliers because we have taken the initiative to
contact all the best and the most cooperative French winemakers
willing to export their products.  We did our homework and contacted the
best representatives of each French region, well known to the world for
their reputation.  In other words, we did your legwork to facilitate your
quests, which give you a substantial added value, and in turn, justify a
very reasonable commission after a strong price negotiation on our
part.  This means that you will not be penalized by our commission, if
you contract our services, the fact that we've negotiated prices for you
that you might not even get on your own. Why? Because you are only
ONE client, as for us, we bring many clients, which represents much
more volume to the supplier. In other words, if you decide to import your
wines with us, you will not feel it financially, but you will do it in serenity
and with peace of mind.
At this point, I'd like to give
credit to
Le musé du vin in the
Anjou region
where all the
pictures you see on our site of
the very old tools come from.
It's a fantastic place and if you
come to France visite the caves
and the famous producers, we
will definitely set asside some
time to take you there.
We welcome and love challenges and always strive for a job well done. We not only find the wines
for you, but we facilitate all the export process with the best shippers who have refrigerated
containers and know wine transportation well. If  there are particular wines you are looking for that
are not listed on our site, do not hesitate to inquire with us.  We will find the wines and negotiate the
best prices possible, because after all... isn't this one of the most important factors for you?
We would very much like to discuss our future partnership with you so don't hesitate to call or email
us. Thank you for looking.  Please look around our site, You'll see that you stopped at the right
place. We look forward to your mail or telephone call...  Thanks.
This Loire Valley
wine
deserves to be
known !
